Strangers tasted it before you did.

KiroZone is an on-ground tasting tent. No friends, no family, no briefing — people walk up, eat, and score the recipe then and there. Nothing reaches a shelf until it passes.

Got Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Kiro Premix made of?

Three ingredients in every pouch: a millet flour, rice flour and besan (chickpea flour). The millet is ragi (finger millet), kutki (little millet) or kangani (foxtail millet), depending on the pack. That is the entire list — no maida, no preservatives, no added sugar, no oil, no anti-caking agents, no artificial flavours or colours. FSSAI licence 10525006000365, and NABL lab-tested.

Which millet should I choose?

Ragi (finger millet) is our original and best seller, with the most protein of the three at 13.14g per 100g. Kutki (little millet) and Kangani (foxtail millet) are far lower in sodium, at 20mg and 15mg per 100g, and are made for eight dishes including bread, cake and waffles.

Not sure? The Millet Trio has one pouch of each and ships free.

How do I make it, and what can I make?

Mix the premix with water into a batter and cook. A chilla takes about ten minutes start to finish — no soaking, no grinding, no fermenting. Idli and dhokla add a little curd and a pinch of Eno, then steam.

Ragi Premix makes ten dishes: chilla, idli, dhokla, uttapam, appe, pancakes, waffles, pizza bases, tacos and fried idli. Every one has been cooked and filmed in our own kitchen, with step-by-step recipes in the Kiro Ragi Cookbook. Kutki and Kangani Premix are made for eight: dosa, idli, dhokla, chilla, bread, cake, pizza and waffles.

Is it safe for kids?

Yes. Three real ingredients, no preservatives, maida or added sugar, and low sodium: 118mg per 100g in Ragi Premix, 20mg in Kutki and 15mg in Kangani. FSSAI licensed and NABL lab-tested.

The millets, rice and besan are naturally gluten-free, but the premixes are made in a facility that also handles other grains, so we do not certify them as coeliac-safe. They suit anyone avoiding wheat and maida. For infants under one year, check with your paediatrician.

What is the shelf life?

Six months (180 days) from the date of manufacture, stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. The best-before date is printed on every pouch. Once opened, move it to an airtight container and use within 30 days for the freshest taste.

Do you ship all over India?

Yes, pan-India through Delhivery. Free delivery above Rs. 499; below that it is a flat Rs. 70. Most orders arrive in 5 to 8 business days, with metro pin codes usually quicker. You can check your own pin code on the product page before you order. Cash on Delivery is available.

Will my family actually like the taste?

This is the question we get most, and it is why we built KiroZone. Every Kiro premix — Ragi, Kutki and Kangani — goes through it before launch. 400+ strangers — not friends, not family — have tasted Kiro blind across three cities. The average score was 4.9 out of 5.

Buyers since launch rate it 4.8 out of 5. The chilla is crisp at the edges, the idli is soft, and the dhokla is spongy without fermenting overnight.

What if something is wrong with my order?

Because this is food, we accept returns in specific cases: the pack arrived damaged, you received the wrong item, the product is past its best-before date, or there is a genuine quality problem.

Raise it within 48 hours of delivery — WhatsApp +91 96308 52245 or email hello@kirofoods.com with your order number and a photo of the product and packaging. We reply within 24 hours and will refund, replace, or issue store credit. Full terms are in our Refund Policy.

Why is it priced higher than regular atta?

Atta is refined wheat milled at enormous scale. Kiro is whole-grain millet (ragi, kutki or kangani) blended with besan and rice flour, made in small batches and lab-tested every run.

You are paying for 11 to 13g of plant-based protein per 100g from real grain rather than added isolates, sodium between 15 and 118mg per 100g where most instant mixes sit three to four times higher, and a three-ingredient list with nothing hidden in it. That works out to roughly Rs. 39 for one person’s breakfast — less than a cafe, and about what a plate of street food costs.
